I was a hip hop dancer back in my college days (not a great one but good enough 😂) and we usually just mix the music by ourselves, us dancers. we don't have special producers or djs to do it and it's usually the case for many in the underground scene, the dancers usually do it all themselves. but for upeepz they may have those help but from what i can remember when i was able to see some of them practice where my crew practiced as well, they just mix the music themselves as well. not sure now tho. ☺️

One of the popular all male dance groups in PH in the 1990s was Streetboys that was known for including the flying moves & back flip moves in hiphop, that made them unique & popular in the industry. Thus, when Fil. hiphop dancers joined in those international hiphop dance competition in 2000s, those flying moves were already included. The tv show where the tnt boys were discovered used to have a hiphop dance competition prior to having the singing competition segment.
