Yes, LOONA did use an indian music/bollywood melody. The Mv reminded me of Beyonce's 'Who Run the World' since the message of the song and MV is that women in war against society that opresses their rights, thats why you could see in the chorus that male backup dancers are using spears to fight against women but they just keep on fighting and shouting "you cant stop us", and in the final chorus, you can see women in the center and leading men.

The girl you like her voice is Haseul, she was on hiatus for almost the past 2 years and she came back for this comeback and I was so happy when you noticed her vocals because she's absolutely amazing and trained to be an opera singer ❤️

Loona significa "Chica del mes" (이달의 소녀), hace referencia al proyecto predebut de las chicas, ya que revelaron a las 12 chicas en diferentes meses del año mediante debuts en solitario. LOONA se obtiene con las consonantes de su nombre en coreano (ㄴㅇㅇㄹㄷㅣ) y en el logo aparecen estas letras y se acomodan para formar el nombre del grupo. Y ellas tienen muchas teorías, básicamente el "loonaverse" tiene muchas cosas que ver con la astrología, y por eso hay un juego de palabras ya que Loona se pronuncia como Luna en español

their international name its loona because its a mixture of all the first letter of each syllables of their korean name their korean name is 이달의 소녀, the first letter of each syllable is ㅇㄷㅇㅅㄴ but when you mix it becomes LOONA, you can see that happens with the logo in the begin of any LOONA MV

Most of Loona’s songs ARE your guys cup of tea- very creative and interesting R&B.. check our some of their solos like Kim Lip’s “eclipse” to see their r&b side. Don’t judge the music off of one or two videos because they change their sound for every member, subunit and group single

In the description of the music video says "combines all the essential elements from chart-topping Bollywood songs, with a massive Indian drums and tablas combined with aggressive dubstep and 808 bass sounds, a hypnotic Indian flute" so yeah, it has influence of indian and dubstep-ish sounds, so you were right. I recommend you to watch their coreos (butterfly, colors, favorite) and their sub-units over all (sweet crazy love by OEC, sonatine by 1/3 and love4eva with grimes and xxyx). They also have a very famous coreo cover of Not Today and it's insane, you need to watch it. btw they are also well known for their cinematography in MVs, specially because they work with Digipedi, a great name in this matter in SK.

LOONA has one of the most diverse sounding discographies in kpop. Butterfly was kind of their breakout song as a full group, but they've had great music coming out years before that started in 2016. Between each member having a solo song, 3 sub-units, and their full OT12 releases, there is more to the LOONAverse than ever before.

Yess, I'm happy to see you both react to more Loona! Haven't seen anyone answer the question as to what Loona song to check out next, so I'll give some info. Predebut, each of the 12 members was revealed every month or so with their own solo song and MV, as well as sub-units that were formed every few members. You could react to those in order to get more of a coherent intake of the "Loonaverse" or you could also just react to it randomly if you're just interested in the music/performance. I think something like Kim Lip's solo "Eclipse" would be more up Efra's alley than this (since PTT wasn't really his cup of tea). Would also love to see you react to Yves' solo "New" as it's something very different and the first soultronica genre kpop song ever if I remember correctly.

I hope you'll react to the other promoted track from this release, "WOW". It's more in line with their classic sound drawing on new jack swing/r&b and house music influences. LOONA's title tracks for the past few releases have been more about marketability than defining their sound.

the name LOONA was actually inspired by the word "Luna" meaning Moon itself! but LOONA has a lore with every song of theirs so to make it easier to understand LOONA is stylized as LOOΠΔ highlighting the similarities between the Latin, Greek and Korean alphabets because if you were to observe carefully these the Korean characters ㅇ, ㄷ, ㅇ, ㅅ, ㄴwere used in the name and ΠΔ for Greek. LOONA basically is the embodiment of the celestial planet when it comes to english/latin/greek but literally translates to "Girl of the Month" in korean at the same time. Sorry if it's confusing, just know thay they combined Korean, Latin and Greek in the making of the name which is why it isn't just LOONA. Also the instrumentals were inspired by egyption music but bollywood/indian music instead :) hope this helps

Virtually all of the "Bollywood" sounds in this track can be played on K-traditional instruments. If anyone is interested one can watch dozen of artists play "gugak inspired" music including traditional instruments in a variety of fusion genres and straight-up traditional stuff on Arirang's youtube channel (an English broadcast company in Seoul) called "Club.Kom" .

oh man they don't even know...lol Loona has a huge back story and lore. It took them like 2 and a half years to debut. One girl was revealed each month with their own video and lore. They also made subunits (3 of them) with videos and more lore. They spent 9 Million dollars in videos for each girl and subunit before they even debuted. Look up a video called "Loona Avengers of KPop" to really understand it. That's worth a reaction too.
