The MUPH 2022 event seems to be very big in the Philippines. 10,000 people will certainly fit in the MOA hall. When I accidentally clicked into the live stream of the event on KZbin, there were over 500,000 viewers. Also, I assume it's all going to be broadcast on TV and satellite. That's what I call a platform for Morissette!

This was such a good and new platform for Mori and the rest of the world to discover her. She absolutely belonged up there with all those Queens. This was the BEST MUPH show in a very long time. It felt like it was the real Miss Universe. This was Miss Universe Philippines and yes those are delegates from different provinces. This was the contest for our representative for Miss Universe. Great program and we now have a new Queen in Celeste Cortesi. Go Philippines. But Morisette though......like she was going to let us down. This was in a huge arena and she slayed. Those ladies that marched out are former Miss Universe queens. PIA WURTZBACH won 2015 and her win was fairly controversial and I won't spoil it if you don't know.

After 2 yrs. Omg. Well organized pageant 👌. Contestants are all from philippines. Representing each provinces. and the last 5 were from miss universe. Including the former miss universe Ph (because the event is for MissU Philippines). The last is the reigning Miss Universe 2021 from India. :) what an honor to have them in the Philippines. 🇵🇭 my favorite Miss Universe is Demi from South Africa. She's there too. She's married now and his husband (Tim Tebow) american football player, former NFL player, owned the Tebow CURE hospital in Davao Philippines. Demi visited the hospital to celebrate 7th year of the foundation after the MissU PH event. ^_^

every province gets to have a representative and whoever wins the MUPH gets to represent the Philippines in the actual Miss Universe. That's how Catriona Gray and rest of the Filipino candidates were chosen before.

The performance you just watched was at the coronation night of Miss Universe-Philippines @ the Mall of Asia Arena, where the National Committee selected a candidate/winner who will represent the country in the international competition, which is Miss Universe 2022 in this case.

They’re from the Philippines from different part of the provinces and cities. At the end, the Queens who reign and won in their generation, like Pia, she is Ms. Universe 2015 from Philippines. And the last one is the winner of the Ms. Universe 2021 from India. I think Cath has something to do that time. But she previously attend some of the previous activities of Miss Universe.

Yes, Miss Universe Philippines 2022 candidates are all from Philippine provinces. The one who brought the crown home will represent Philippines in the upcoming Miss Universe 2022 where different countries will compete. And the women highlighted in the end are previous Miss Universe Queens from different countries and Pia's from the Philippines. She was crowned as Miss Universe back in 2015. And the most recent one from 2021 is the last woman shown. She's from India :)

The event is the 'Miss Universe Philippines 2022'.... It is the national pageant to choose Philippines' representative to the international 'Miss Universe' pageant to be held later this year. The large group of girls who came out are the contestants representing Cities/Provinces of the Philippines. The individual girls who came out during the last part were: Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters (now Tebow), MU 2017 from South Africa; Iris Mittenaere MU 2016 from France; Pia Wurtzbach MU 2015 from the Philippines (The 3 queens were there to host the show); Beatrice Luigi Gomez is the reigning Miss UniversePH 2021 (There to pass on the crown); Harnaaz Sandhu is the reigning MU 2021 from India (There as invited special guest and one of the judges).
