YG got other boygroups like BIGBANG, Winner, Ikon but this is the first attempt to have a boygroup that will actually do a synchronize dance and this is the biggest group that YG ever debut with 12 members.

Exactly like this might be the closet to thing to a kpop groups that YG has in a while. Because YG usually doesn’t take in the best dancers he would focus more on vocals and stage presence.

iKON are fantastic dancers. They just choose not to do crazy hard choreography that could interfere with their singing. They make it look simple and easy but their timing and precision is amazing. Check out dance practices for Love Scenario, Killing Me, Goodbye Road, and Rubber Band.

It's just that on stage they kinda don't care about choreography as long as they have great vocals, raps and stage presence (which is in my opinion more important than having perfect choreo).

Deedee Schway ikon is probably the closest thing we have as a mainstream idol, thats why when i saw treasure i saw a lot of ikon in them as the same time their own color. But I believe Treasure will be the Hybrid of Ikon and Bigbang with awesome stage present and a sharp dancing.

me it’s only my opinion like yes YG has pretty good dancers. But in a world where people focus on pretty much everything especially dancing. You need good choreography and Treasure is one of them. Probably the closest thing to kpop in YG. Because as you said Ikon and Winner choose to sing and rap more instead of dancing.

the oldest is 21 and the youngest is 15, so they are really young! And yes, they are really popular but most of the support is from outside of korea, they have a pretty big international fan base. I can say that they are definitely one of the most talented kpop groups out there, they have AMAZING vocalists and rappers, and they are also the first yg group that is focusing on strong and synchronize d choreo. YG said treasure will be more for a global audience instead of korea, and they are already doing pretty well. They were #1 on itunes on most latin american countries and asia. Even before their debut, they had already ranked on billboard, they are in the top 5 most mentioned kpop groups on twitter, and already have more than 200K pre orders for their single album (only 2 songs) and it has been only 1 day since their debut. They will definitely take over cause they have conquered so much even before their debut, its crazy! They have a youtube channel where they post covers, dance performances, conversations, vlogs, games... I'd love to see you guys reacting to their content! So, if could, please react to their covers and also "[TREASURE MAP] EP.21", its a prank where the staff let them by themselves in a cafe with fans, to see how they would react and you can see more about their personalities.

Treasure is the 1st ever YGE boy group made with so many members. Most of the YGE artist didn't go with the trends in debuting an idol. They're making their own trends but with the changing of KPOP scene its their 1st time to showcase the dance, songs and quality with Treasure. YG's last boy group was in 2015 it's a group called iKON ypu should definitely check them out! TREASURE has 12 members the youngest one is actually 15 and the oldest is 21. They have two leaders one of them being the green haired rapper you liked his name is Hyunsuk and he is the oldest (21). The R&B vocalist you liked is the 2nd youngest his name is Jeongwoo and the deep tone rapper is Haruto who's the third youngest member. Haruto and Jeongwoo are only 16 which is unbelievable to me haha. They dropped 2 songs BOY and COME TO ME. I'm pretty sure they're gonna be dropping more music in the coming months and finally a full album towards the end of the year.

Thank you! Love how you enjoyed this so much. There had been debates about the drop and the chorus. I think because they find the drop unexpected and the chorus lyrics really simple. I think the other verses supported the chorus lyrics well though and it's just a chance to just introduce them and what they can do so the chorus just became a part where they can showcase the dance skills and it's just catchy, simple, and easy to remember . Great vocal colors though, right?...they are really talented and can't wait to see how much they will show in the future. They are just taking the first step and finally officially introducing themselves to the world. Anyway they are 12 multi-talented boys, really young. I think in Korean age they are around 16-22 years old. They have already started preselling the album and it contains two songs - Boy and Come To Me - plus the instrumental of these songs. I think they will release songs two at a time hopefully per month like what BigBang did before for MADE.

5:23 I'm 2 years late but YES! Treasure's rap verses never felt detached from the entire song like some other groups for a long time. They reminded me of BTOB's rap line who are so melodically seamlessly blending in with the song. Maybe that's why Treasure rose up to the level of admiration I have with them the way I do with BTOB.

Ah they finally had their debut. I'm so happy so many people that are not familiar with them are actually interested. I've been a fan for 3 years now, because I knew some of them from different survival shows and let me tell you, after all that SHIT they deserve the world. Rapper with deep voice is Haruto. He's japanese and he's only 16 so that's wild. Rapper with green hair is Hyunsuk. He's also the oldest (21) and he's one of the leaders (Treasure has 2 leaders). 4:52 Omg Haruto/Hyunsuk/Jeongwo subunit...you're a genius. Amazing! Also, third guy in your so called subunit is Jengwoo and he's only 16. Wild, right? I actually didn't like this song so much, but I'm so happy they are doing good and I support them all the way. They have one more song on their first single album btw, you can check it out. I LOVED the second song! Treasure ages are between 15 and 21 so yeah, they are REALLY young. Also, before Treasure the last boy group from YG was iKON and they debuted in 2015. Before them it was Winner in 2014. And before Winner it was Big Bang in 2006. Obviously, they had more artists (solo and girl groups) in between but these are just boy groups.
