I have the classic and love it. How does it compare to that? It seems thinner from what I can see. Do you think it will be as durable long term?
@NextStepOutdoors2 ай бұрын
It is really well built. It will be more comfortable due to the 4" webbing though for sure.
@CarolinaTinesOutdoors23 сағат бұрын
If you had to choose. Which latitude would you pick? I have the method 2 and ca not get comfortable, the Lonestar looks really bulky, and the maverick is the closest to what I ran for years which is the AeroHunter kestrel

I'd get the Mav. Best bang for your buck. I have that and the Lonestar. Switching back to the Macerick for my Kansas rut trip.

I’m curious about your thoughts on the upcoming Lonestar Saddle. How do you think it will compare to the Maverick in terms of comfort, especially for those long, all-day sits?
@NextStepOutdoors2 ай бұрын
I haven’t sat in it yet but seems like it’s the Cadillac of single panel saddles. Super feature rich and I’d imagine will be one of the most comfortable saddles on the market. I’m going to pick one up and get a review posted soon.

I think it’s good for tx5 to join the team and believe the tx5 minimalist is best ultra light hybrid saddle and I don’t even own one. I should have bought the Method 2 as I think a two piece is best for straight saddle hunting again even though I didn’t buy one like I should have. I have a CGM Cobra and it’s a one piece saddle. I can collapse mine to about 6in and I have my thoughts on one piece saddles. I think they are comfortable if you combine them with a back band. I think ones pieces are all relatively he same thought with minor differences between them. If I was looking for budget choice this would be one the contenders. I think now the innovation has to come in price of the new saddles not so much the functionality. One pieces are one pieces and two are two but not major enough changes to make one wildly different then the others more of a Ford, Chevy, Dodge argument. The kicker would be a super high quality saddle with all the bells and whistles for a cheaper price and not quite sure how you’d do that??? Another good review though!!!

You’re the second person to say something about the minimalist. I’d venture to guess if it is that highly regarded, latitude will push something like that in the future. You’re right tho, nothing earth shattering about any of the new saddles across the market but that 4” webbing makes a noticeable different in my opinion.

@@NextStepOutdoors Sadly at first I fell into the trying to buy what I could save a few $$$ on. The buy once cry once motto should have been my course. I’m on 2nd set of sticks and 2nd platform. I live in northeast and it’s hard to try saddle gear out before buying so because of that I did try to pinch a few pennies. Should have bought Method 2 cuz I’ve added back band to make saddle comfortable for long sits where two panel would have done that from start. Now I want an arsenal platform for packability so 3rd there. However now that I’ve switched to traditional bow a hybrid setup is the way I’m going. Can’t comfortably shoot one out of saddle yet. The minimalist really best I’ve seen for that purpose. Curious to see what latitude does goin forward.

How would you say the Maverick compares to something like the Cruzr xc if you have any experience with that saddle?
@NextStepOutdoors25 күн бұрын
I haven’t tried the Cruzr but I’d bet it would be tough to find a saddle that is as comfortable as the Mav at that price point.
