You can twist the base off of the led. You put the base in the headlight first. Put the rubber dust cover on & twist the led back into the base. So you don’t need to chop up your dust cover.

you can pull the bulb from the ring that clips on. just twist the ring off and then you put the grommet on and then twist the bulb back on.

1Sik_SE the way I see it is to each their own. He works for his money so he has every say on what happens to his car. The lights look great but with that being said some people are considerate and others just don’t care. Truck guys here use the LED bulbs like crazy and they are worse than the civics. Not knocking Tommy for doing this since his other bulbs were shit and that’s not safe, but personally I would’ve gotten another set of lights and done a projector retrofit. But like I said to each their own. It’s a beautiful car, he worked hard for it so I respect it.

Eldar Hodzic it’s just inconsiderate. Blinding oncoming drivers is just as unsafe. Sure, build it how you want it but have some consideration for other drivers. Using PnP LED/HID in something that doesn’t have a projector disperses the light in such a way that it really doesn’t help visibility. Again, at the end of the day it’s about being considerate for others.

1Sik_SE I absolutely agree but people will do as they please, just the ways of the world unfortunately. That’s why my crx still has regular bulbs. Not tearing apart my SiR headlights to retrofit a projector and not getting LEDs to blind people. It looks like shit but I know how bad that blinding feeling is. Plus I’m sure he knows too, doubt he’s going to be driving much at night with these. California is strict as Fuck compared to NY and NY cops are pretty strict in my area.

can-bus is for newer cars. it would tell you if the bulbs were out. can-bus is the protocol parts use to talk to each other.

Hey Tommy. I was cruising on the highway and out of nowhere, no power was going to the wheel. I had my foot on the pedal but I kept slowing down. I downshifted but nothing. I pulled to the shoulder and when I put it in neutral the rams when all the all down to 0 and my engine shut off but I was still moving. Everything else stayed on. Lights, radio, etc. I can't get it to start. What do you think happen and what could it be? Any idea are greatly appreciated! Love your videos bro!

Turn your key forward, if you cel stays on then check the code. Also if you do not hear your fuel pump prime then chances are your main relay took a dump on you. Happened to me before. Luckily I was just a few streets from my house. Car died in the middle of driving but I had power. My main relay power cable had been spliced by the previous owner for some reason and had vibrated loose

I had the same problem I have a 97 Civic thou. check if your alternator is charging and also check if the fuse is blown under the dash it’s a common problem that’s easy to look up, the engine harness under the intake manifold rubs on the bracket that holds it in place and shorts out. you just have to wrap the harness and find a way to keep the harness from rubbing
