I've driven the bag off mine, fun car, but also have tracking issues. I emailed Traxxas about the crazy amount of play in the wheels, both front and back wheels have alot of "wobble" to them. I asked them if there was anything I could do to tighten it up, like adding washers on the axles but they could not give me much advice. I believe they said the play was there to add to the durability. Its almost like the steering linkage is way too loose.

I own all the Groms as well as all of the Latrax. I can honestly say that the Latrax are easily on par with the Groms. The Latrax are overlooked for Groms but they're easily just as durable and fast. I've never had anything go wrong with my Latrax. However I have had a lot go wrong with my Groms including never having a charger make it through the first charge.

We do race the Latrax in RCP track, for the bellcrank we add a lock washer to thigh the spring, so we still have servo saver function, also the 6cell NiMh battery will give you better performance but the car will loose balance, for that we put 11g lead weight in the opposite side to keep same cornering reaction, one more thing you can do is to play with front losi mini b different shock spring rates to tune up even better. There are additional options either like X-ray 1/18 foam tires that will fit on Latrax rally rims, carbon fiber chasis, offset wheel hexes All that depending on your track needs. For the short space we have in the mini z track we do the opposite on the suspension arms spacers to have super tight cornering response The category is highly competitive

Just burned out my motor and wondering if you know any good motor upgrades to the stock? I don't need brutal speed, just a little more top end, and would like something I can pretty much "plug and play" without too much compatibility issue. I see that 52T spur is sold out everywhere too!! Cheers and keep up the great work.
