There's a saying in psychology "every abnoxious act is a cry out for help", his on the field outburst reflects what's happening off the field. Latrell is a great athelte, a good team player, obviously a family and culture person too. Bro, just shut out the outside noise, focus on your intrinsic worth and be the best version of yourself. You got nothing to prove to anyone just be accountable to yourself. Great interview.

I love watching him play. I am always anticipating some extraordinary moves in every game that he plays. Love this man he's a legend. I just feel bad that he doesn’t get the recognition that he deserves, those medals that other athletes get when he's most deserving than most of them. I saw the discrimination in an origin game when he dominated the game when intercepted a Qld pass and dashed more than 80 meters, he made one on one steal of the ball, and managed to tackle the opponent to the sideline, etc. I find it sickening that the man of the match was awarded to Tedesco. Don’t get me wrong. I like Teddy, but whoever was deciding those awards SHOULD BE FAIR!

There’s two reason people hates him. 1. Because he’s lazy sometimes and he disappears after first 20 mintues of the game. 2. That same line “shut up and play”. People forget that professional athletes are human too… the man only stuck up for his beliefs, family and culture and got hated on. Those same people who hated on him are insecure and obviously threatened for what ever reason & offended. The man is genuine and they created that negativity around him. Can’t blame a young man who then lashes out on the footy field the way he does because it’s probably the only place where he lets his frustrations out physically because of all the media pressure. Appreciate this man for what he does for kids in communities and for the kids who get bullied ❤️

The press is a big part of the problem, pandering to his every whim, then when he falls short, they want to crucify him. Good example was Paul Gallen after origin2. The first interview Gal did was Latrell, & he made it sound as though he was the star of the show. That's not Latrells fault. There were quite a few players that had a greater impact, & had they been interviewed 1st, it would have seemed more balanced, but the backlash to the press overhyping , puts a lot of unnecessary pressure on Latrell.

So get paid a million a season, a marquee player, a leader and the standard at the club and play like an under 6s player the play the victim card and can’t accept the criticism. Ezra man situation had nothing to do with LM and LM wanted to make it about himself. His poor attitude and effort at the club and on the field was the issue and seeped into the entire squad. If he gets his mentality and attitude right along with his talent he can become a great.
