langers is the best pastrami ive had. i prefer the navel cut rather than the brisket flat that most places use. and i think most southern ca mom and pop places source their pastrami from the same place so it all comes down to the way they rewarm it.

Pastrami is good when it’s put on the roll heavy,so you can get the great flavor,and taste s.the burger haves a lot of texture and great ingredients to give you what you’re looking for in a burger.

I grew up in Gardena, and Steven's Burgers and Pastrami was my go to. Their Pastrami sandwich (crispy) with the peppers was always a 10 out of 10. I've been living in Atlanta for the past 18 years, and I have not been able to find a Pastrami sandwich here that tops Steven's. Looking at this video brought up so many happy memories. I absolutely love Steven’s. My Aunt lives on 125th/Normandie. Back in the late 80’s, my cousin and I took our routine trip to Steven’s and while inside a drive by was talking place outside. Bullets ripped through Steven’s. All inside were unharmed but that incident prompted them getting bullet proof glass inside.

This was Nostalgia for me I grew up in this area but unless they change the city that is South LA. I have been going to this place since the 6th grade and now my son go there every chance he get when he is back in LA. Me and my friend use to walk there a many times for that burger and Burrito good to know the quality is still good in which my son says as well its 🔥

Across the street from Steven's at Golden Bowl, they have the best teriyaki chicken bowl. Get it loaded with everything, vegetables are extra but worth it.

You can try Rick's Tacos in Gardena. Its another old school burger place with bomb tacos! with the crispy shell and a lot of meat and cheese and their salsa is fire. If it's still there, but there fries and onion rings and chili cheese fries, bomb!

Steven pastrami chili cheese burrito is my favorite from Steve's. But my favorite pastrami spot is main street grill in gardena hands down and there fries are fire. And next time tell them to dip your bread in the pastrami juice it makes it even better .
