Yeah I'd look into it!! Honestly the dry down is really enjoyable! I didn't like it at first spray, but it mellows out nicely as it dries down!

I have this fragrance, and (for me), at the end the smell reminds me "BY THE FIREPLACE" by Maison Margiela

The simbol on the front of the bottle is a "bakhoor burner", where in middle eastern countries they burn oud chips and incense. So I think that's why it represents the fragrance of being smoky, in my opinion. Anyway, I have the Al Areeq Silver with the green bottle and that one is also smoky, woody and leathery and it's very good. I think I would like the gold one that you have listening to your description and too bad you didn't like it but everyone has their own style and likes so it's fair enough. I can see your style to be more fresh, sporty, aquatic and sweet. Like Acqua di Gio flankers and Versace lines. I could be wrong but you look like you like those.

I have the Areeq Silver.. he is not lying that stuff is STRONG wifey doesn't care for it because of the smoky/incense smell but this is a very masculine cigar lounge suit wearing with whisky drinking Alpha male don't mess with me type of guy cologne.. I maybe describing Alreeq silver but I would assume the gold is no different. Definitely a cold weather fragrance like late fall full winter outside by the fire place type of scent. I would say 3 sprays OVERKILL stay in the 2 spray range trust me, Hope that helps...
