Just recently got this and it was love at first sniff.....your review is spot on. I compared the LDBS notes and was really impressed that they don't share too many listed notes but smell sooo similar..the fluffiness is what I was chasing and got!!!

I’ve seen this ansaam gold , I fancied it, may get it. I received just today Lattafa AFAQ I love it, I got it based on you saying it was a bit like Rouge Malachite, it definitely is I love it, some of these lattafa perfumes , perform why better than a lot of expensive brands! I’ve been watching you a while, and I like how you have no snobbery around perfumes , whether it’s £200 or £20 , I feel to many on utube have got this snobbery thing, feel they have to just push very expensive brands, nothing wrong with expensive or cheap perfume, as long as they smell good!

Oriana is a dupe of Love Don’t Be Shy to my nose. The differences are very minimal in how the wearer or others will perceive LDBS or Oriana on someone. The raspberry note does not change the scent in any notable way. I think PDM had to just put a little twist on LDBS instead of outright duping it. 🥰❤️

I got my Ansaam Gold some time ago, but the top notes smelled like very strong bergamot to me (I guess you're talking about me maybe, with the Lemony feel, since I did write it in a comment that it seemed so Bergamot-y... then again, not that crazy, since Bergamot càn have mandarin/orange accords, which is what's actually on the top). But it was pretty much only bergamot I got on arrival with some soft powdery candy, and that doesn't work on my skin. It was so unlike the decant, that I knew it needed to chill a bit. It has macerated a bit better now, and I wore it yesterday, gladly. I unfortunately still don't get any pear, but what I do get is really nice. I first get a blast of very fresh mandarin orange which stays in a moderate way until the end. It gets company from something that to me smells like those coloured candy hearts with love messages on them: sweet, powdery. But because there's a caramely vanilla coming to complement it, it's not steering towards enamel cracking sweetness or kids juice. No, it's quite elegant. The dry down is a mandarin- vanilla with a soft marshmallow or candy heart powderiness. Nothing like what's in my current collection, so I'm pretty happy about that. No idea if it's truly LDBS, but if you want a dupe: listen to Cee ;). If it's just about the smell: to me this is a lovely spring & summer fragrance that won't offend, can be worn during the day as well as to a date (it has both a demure feel and a sensual one. Very interesting contradiction). I totally agree with the "wedding scent" idea! I also love the presentation. Pretty packaging, quality heavy bottle. And even though my skin rarely gives me anything beyond intimate projection or over 3hrs of longevity Ansaam Gold has actually a good SPL on my dry skin. I can still smell it when sprayed just on hands when completely stretching my arms out, was enveloped in a scent bubble for 4hrs at least, and 6 hours later it was still there as a skin scent, even slightly affecting the fragrance I added on top (that one got a hint of powder and citrus). Beastmode it is not, but I definitely think it's one of the better Pride's *projection & sillage* wise. At least on my skin (could be because my skin quite often amplifies citrus notes, which is why I usually stay away from them, but it was also 21° C yesterday - warm spring, to early summer weather). I got mine in my own country, The Netherlands, but really hope I'll be able to get a backup for a little less money. With the very short periods of warm weather we have here I spend less on fragrances like these and all the Pride perfumes are €69,-, (unless you are lucky to get them during a discount period and pay about 40 to 55 euro. I got Nebras for €55 and Afaq for €40). In comparison with the Killian though, it IS worth the 70 bucks. Personally I think it is a shame that some of these Pride fragrances are dupes after all. Lattafa is definitely capable of creating beautiful fragrances on their own, so why not be proud of that and create a Pride Line worthy of the sentiment? I guess maybe that's why Winner's Trophy Gold is my current favourite... Though, got to admit: with that pyramid it is a small miracle Ansaam Gold is apparently so very close to LDBS anyway (I'm quite certain every single brand leaves a few notes out, or it would be too easy to copy them).

I totally agree with you that Lattafa should have made their own creations on the Lattafa Pride Collection. To go through all that only to dupe other creations makes no sense. I was the first person to unveil the Lattafa Pride Collection on KZbin. I was super excited when I sniffed them only to be disappointed to know they were dupes. I even did a follow up video called “Lattafa Pride, Originals or Dupes in Disguise”. Thank you for your written review on Ansaam Gold, It’s really helpful 🥰❤️

I ordered this one a while back. As soon as I smelled it, I immediately ordered a back up. It’s not long lasting for me though. I don’t mind reapplying it though. I actually layered this one with Alive Now (the dupe for Angel Nova) and I really enjoyed it.

Hey Cee. I'm wondering if you have sampled Oriana, which I heard is what it's duping. I don't have that so I can't compare but that one does have the raspberry note. Either way, it's lovely. I was wondering if you have tried Royal.Essence Seniora and how it compares to Meliora.

I haven’t tried Royal Essence but l have smelt PDM Oriana. Oriana is a dupe of Love Don’t Be Shy to my nose. Love your content Cee. I’m getting my grandson into fragrance, and gave him a 11ml sample of MFK gentle fluidity silver which I found too masculine. He loves it, but is there a middle eastern dupe of this one you would recommend ? Hie there from the MFK Gentle Fluidity line l haven’t come across the gentle fluidity silver dupe from the MiddleEast….however Fragrance World have duped the gentle fluidity gold and theirs is called Barakkat Gentle Gold 🥰

Hi my Dear! Thanks for this review. I had this maybe 2 months but the first sniff I hated it, it smelled powdery-musky to me but after your last video for mother's day I decided to try it again and it is lovely especailly in the dry down. I am slightly disappointed in the longevity though. Smells high-end. The bottle is wow though, even the cap, nice details and weighty I never put my nose on Love Don't Be Shy. Thanks again Cee for the fantastic, detailed review. I sprayed it again as I was watching you and I kind of smell a note like orange blossom water. I do agree that it is fluffy and feminine ❤️❤️❤️

The comment section is really confusing lol. I dont know how Oriana smells but i love LDBS. I have tried so many dupes : Perdizione,Classique Pin Up, Prada Candy Kiss, Reminiscence Guimauwe..and I actually didn't like any of them. So can u pls compare the difference with the Lattafa, is it less sweet,more green...?

I don't think it's sweet enough to be a dupe for LDBS. Ciao by Riffs (which is also a Lattafa brand) is the dupe for LDBS. Ansaam is the dupe for PDM's Oriana.

Yet Oriana itself is a 2021 release duping Love Don’t Be Shy a 2007 release. Nice!!! It seems most people find it hard to believe that some of these overpriced houses like PDM are duping too! The fact that they were smart enough to add a lot of citrus doesn’t change the fact that Oriana draws its inspiration from love Don’t Be Shy period!..and if it helps l have LDBS, Oriana and this dupe too.

For me Oriana doesn’t even smell similar to LDBS. I understand some people may find them similar but it’s hardly a reason to call them dupes. Anyway for me this one is a great dupe for Oriana.

This also smells like Mancera Velvet vanilla ... love don't be shy , ansaam gold and velvet vanilla all smell alike . Lattafa is less potent . Mancera is very potent and long lasting ...
