Lauching a tender loaded from the Beach

Herve is a full time liveaboard with an OC350 in the Caribbean. Him and his Dad were transporting their new oven and cook top but conditions were not great st the dock so why not use the beach? These guys are a classy act.

We made our entire concept around what these guys have just done. We want our clients to be able to do it as easily as these guys have done. No anchoring off. Keep it light and efficient. And well, yes we are the best beach tender ever in our own minds at least! : )

So the wheels stay down when underway? I didn’t see them raise them.

They can stay down for ease of take off, but he does take them up after they are away from the beach - you can see towards the end of the video he reaches on each side of the outboard - he is bringing them up. It's a very good system which makes launching and retrieve of wheels very easy and can be done from the boat itself.

Yes when you are carrying your new stove and cook top in your tender maybe not a good idea to launch on a beach with waves... our point here is a heavy load, two pax (a 30 something and a 60 something) and a beach launch nicely achieved with the man power at hand. No water splashed even with the small waves.... Try doing that with another tender is all we say....😉
