Laufey really knows how to write songs that touches the soul. I usually don’t listen to classical songs but Laufey puts so much emotion and effort into her songs which makes it hard to not listen to. Props to her and the Philharmonia Orchestra. ❤️👏

She sounds curiously mystical. The dreamlike arpeggios could just as easily accompany a classical piece from hundreds of years prior, truly timeless. If our Laufey can make heartbreak so, hauntingly dreamlike and bittersweet then one would really be pressed to imagine what sort of elegance she can’t capture!

This is def my fav song from Laufey. It's so magical, yet so heartbreaking. As I have this song in my playlist and I usually put it randomly, everytime this song comes up, I think that is one of the ghibli OST that is also in my playlist, and then Laufey starts to sing. It's magical, It's simply... amazing. The symphony, the piano, her mesmerizing voice, the lyrics... It makes me feel like I relate to the song, to the lyrics, but I haven't had the situation that the lyrics describe. It makes me remember a memory that never actually happened.
