I have a sweet memory linked to this song: it was a sunny and warm day, the clouds dancing in the vast sky, the branches of the young trees swayed slowly forming shadows of small leaves spread across my face as I looked at the window, the beams of light that they infiltrated my classroom in a silly way, like young girls running around laughing. It was a simple middle school music lesson and we were playing songs when the teacher saw this song in the suggested videos: he listened to it, fascinated by the delicate voice and the simple, clean melody. I discovered Laufey last week on KZbin and WOW!... I can't get enough of her self made videos and professional MV's. She's a rare musical gift to the world, and with a vibrant personality without self aggrandizement or self importance. She brings a style of song that flourished in the 1940's -1950's with a modern interpretation and all the chord changes and nuance of voice. May she collect all the accolades she deserves, her career is really just starting being only 24 years old. I'm simply amazed. Bless you Laufey!

Aghhh I know how it feels. I’ve liked this guy for YEARS and have had to be his comfort friend for a while. Ive helped him through so many breakups and everything. The worst part is as a gay man I assumed he didn’t like guys at all but my heart STILL refused to move on. Later he told me he did and that he had found “the guy”. It hurts me so much that it wasn’t me. They broke up recently and I don’t really know how to feel. High school is ending next year and it pains me that I won’t even have the courage to ask him out. 😞
