Just for the record: those who have not reached my advanced age might not realize that back in the 1960s men didn't hug without it seeming unusual or even indecent (of course there were exceptions). Even if humanity had not accomplished anything else worthwhile since then, at least men, whether father and son, two friends, or anyone else, can express sincere and innocent affection without it being considered remarkable.

I must be really, really stupid all of a sudden---I can't understand anything anyone is singing about. I mean, I used to be a mother (both children are now dead), and could sing songs about that, but didn't know what that woman was saying in her song. Absolutely no clue whatsoever what the guy in green (first performer) was saying at all, and the shaggy-haired guy on the guitar....were they all singing about things specific to the UK? I'm American, have lived here all my life and haven't traveled outside the USA, so I'm probably just ignorant about the terms and words they were all using.
