In 2021, about 37.7 percent of the U.S. population who were aged 25 and above had graduated from college or another higher education institution, a slight decline from 37.9 the previous year. However, this is a significant increase from 1960, when only 7.7 percent of the U.S. population had graduated from college. Granted, not everyone needs a college education, but there is a large portion of the US that at least needs an 8th grade education.

40 years? Remember a war fought against a tyrant king? The Japanese war council votes on the 9th prove they didn't end the war as to the communique's between Japan and the US via the Swiss embassies on the 10th 11th and 12th. Then you have the Truman ordered raids on the 13th and 14th with over 1000 b29 sorties flown. Targets selected this time by the air Corp itself and not politicians in Washington. They also don't teach about the 67 major Japanese cities fire bombed with over 30 suffering much more damage than either Hiroshima or Nagasaki, an estimated 10 million people killed mostly civilians. This was hidden from the world after the war as were the crimes committed during occupation by US forces. Like the creation of a brothel system just like the Japanese used in Asia. The US tricked and forced Japanese girls into prostitution. The system was officialy closed in mid 46 because of a VD breakout. After that according to JAG figures rapes committed by US troops against Japanese women and little girls rose to 330 reported daily on average. This was censored by MacArthur for decades.
