Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D'Amaro couldn't get through his Disney Parks presentation at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, especially the Marvel portion of the show, without a hilarious appearance from Deadpool and a little backup, with an exceptional performance by American Idol winner Abi Carter.

They already tried this many times, with Hollywood Studios in the 80s, Miramax in the 90s, and their acquisitions recently. Hell Disney+ has a TON of R-Rated movies, so much so that parents tried to sue because of the fact it had Keeping up with the Kardashians on it

They love Ryan Reynolds' depiction of Deadpool because it's the most profitable aspect of their Fox acquisition. If not for his involvement, they would have been perfectly happy to ignore him as a character (in large part due to the generally less than kid-friendly aspects of Wade Wilson). They don't love Deadpool, they love money, and they're gonna squeeze this cash cow for every drop they can get.

If Disney is smart (which is a gamble) they will make Deadpool a permanent fixture. The way Park!Deadpool tapdances along the line of PG13 is incredibly entertaining, and honestly they've let him get away with way more risque things than I thought Disney would ever allow from a face character.

Disney’s definitely using Deadpool for future projects.
