I'm Puerto Rican. You can be black and Puerto Rican. You can be any race and be Puerto Rican because it's an ethnicity not race of people. ;)

Ethnicity includes genetics, race. But Puerto Rican ethnicity includes white and brown and black. Races the way you define it is an American concept. In Europe for example the French and Germans are different races. There’s different levels of race lol. When I was in England someone was complaining there were too many Celtic news anchors ie, not English enough.

Yes, it baffles me that people say they're not black, they're Puerto Rican. Puerto Rican is not a race. I've known black, brown, "Indian" (native West Indian), white Puerto Ricans, and every mixture of the above. US race construction is just weird. I do love Anjelah, though. She's cute and funny.

You can be red headed, green eyed Caucasian and be Puerto Rican. If you were born there, you are Puerto Rican. It is a nationality, not a race. Just like if you are born in America, you are an American. Your race is completely separate from your nationality. Just had this talk with my Mexican,born in Mexico, best friend today.
