Launceston via Devonport to Melbourne/TASMANIA by Motorbike/Day 4

Day 4
We start early from Launceston heading towards Devonport to catch the Spirit of Tasmania Ferry back to Melbourne, Victoria. About 35k's out of Launceston the low fuel light appears with 70+k's to Devonport (this bike has no fuel gauge). Nothing is open & unfamiliar with the area i decide to head back to Launceston to fill up.
Now that is done we are in Devonport & waiting to board the Ferry when a trike rolls up wanting to board. It's smooth sailing back to Port Melbourne where we exit & make our way home.
This trip has been a great break for me (well over due). Being a full time carer i don't get the chance to travel far, so i was slightly overwhelmed by it to say the least.
Thank you to all who followed my journey to Tasmania & back 🤜🤛 If you get a chance to go over there my advice is don't think twice just do it : )

Love the vid m8!! Tassie’s early hours look amazing, but I can’t imagine how cold you would be on your bike!! That yellow bike looks unbelievable, I usually see a lot of unique and crazy bikes on Acland St, the bikes there are so amazing!! Great series BOBBER!

Thanks N, i'm sure the car & bike scene would be huge in Acland St while getting a cake & coffee. I went there 30yrs ago & really haven't been back except riding through. Tassie is beautiful & actually has the cleanest air quality in the world (a little fun fact) : )

Yeah that bike doesn't have a fuel gauge. I was different with a Renault motor. Thanks for watching the trip m8 : )

That's the 1st time i've seen one like that, apparently there are a few up nth in NSW. I really enjoyed my Tassie trip but all good things come to an end sometimes. Thanks for following these vids m8 : )

We were there at Xmas, 2019. I lost my fob on day one of our nine day trip!!! 😂 For the return trip the guys on the ship asked for my fob after I tied up the bike, I got a strange look when I told them that I lost it. I had to give them my mobile number in case the alarm got set off! ✌️😂

Oof 5.30 start in Tassy 🥶🥶. How far did you travel on reserve in the end? I’ve pushed my 07 to 45-50k’s on reserve. Theyre pretty reliable machines reckon they’d run on fumes for a while just not game enough to test it! 😂 Awesome video bobber, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the series!

This bike hasn't got a fuel gauge just the orange light & it's suppose to have 80k's from then, i just look for a servo straight away when it comes on. Thanks for following my trip A, appreciate you : )
