That first match made me irrationally angry. Really not a fan of this coinflip boat playstyle and it's freaking everywhere. Either they win the flip and mow you down no matter what you do or they don't win and then just slowly die because they can't get anywhere.

They could do anything with that supply, those six overlords could be six fortresses and your complaints wouldn't change.

@@MasterSherwood001 I'm not sure what you're trying to say tbh. Nobody plays 6 Fortresses like that and hopes that they magically get chaff clear to run the enemy over. That's a Boat specialty and it is extremely popular right now which is where my (slightly irrational like I said) annoyance comes from.

I don't think it's that simple of a coinflip because this strat also hard loses to mm/phoenix/mustang drops as well since it's not a well rounded comp. A lot of the time you end up taking a bunch of hp damage waiting around for unit drops, so even if you get your ideal drops, you are so far behind anyways. I don't think it's an optimal strategy to pursue. The good news is though, there will be a much needed boat chin gun nerf next patch!

​@@n_sacco If it wins if it gets the right drops and loses if the opponent does then that's the definition of coin flip to me. I mean we've seen it in this very match. The second he didn't get the Typhoon drop he just rolled over and died with cheese being his last (futile) resort. Whether it is optimal or not is debatable. It sure seems to have gained a lot of popularity and that normally doesn't happen without reason. And even if isn't optimal it is more about the fact that everyone and their mother just stupidly plays this strategy down and there is 0 variation. Gets boring real fast. So yeah, good to hear that there might be changes on the horizon.
