For me, even if I follow every step, type it out exactly the same, it doesn’t work. After the launch screen, it just fades to white (the main story board is white) it literally ignores all of this code. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong but I assume it’s super simple.

Even going back to 6:00, at this point, the launch screen just fades to white for me. No animation.

late reply for you but for anyone else having issues, try putting the animate functions in viewDidLoad instead. I got it to work like in the video when putting in layoutSubviews, but I wanted to do multiple steps of animation and that only worked if I put my animate functions into viewDidLoad
