Great video! I've been meaning to redo our sail attachment to the boom and spar as you've done it with a spiral of rope rather than individual loops.

Thanks, check out my rigging for the season video for additional info: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZW7hamKmaympqcsi=q4UES5zyw9hrCC-t I like how responsive the sail is now with the spiral approach.

Bardzo dobra prezentacja. Na różnych łódkach, i w różnych warunkach, może różnić się szczegółami, ale gdy chodzi o generalne zasady, jest OK. Pozdrawiam 😀

Dziękuję. Dokładnie, każda łódka jest inna.

Maybe you should invest in a real slip trolley. Then you don't have to step in the water and you can rig the boat already on land. I hate to be wet when sailing and I hate if the boat is wet inside. BTW how do you fix the rudder when using the oars? Due to the norwegian tiller my rudder always go to the side when not fixed.

I've always rigged my boat in the water, trolley or cart, no problems there for me. Also, I build the boat cart so I can take it with me if needed. To answer your question: I don't attach the rudder to anything any more. I used to tie it up but I stopped doing it, because when I row the boat it automatically adjusts itself due to the movement of the water through the rudder. I just keep the tiller in the center of the boat and it works fine, try it.
