Great video for how to start centers for Kindergarten. I'm trying something new this year. I did an online course by The Kindergarten Connection, and she taught us about free-flowing centers. So far it seems to be working! I've always used a chart like you and assigned them to a certain center, so it's been a big change for me that I'm not 100% comfortable with yet. It's only Week 3, so we'll see how it goes moving forward.

Around 15-20 min. Depends on the day and the group I'm working with.

Thank you for this video. Are you willing to share the center icons that you have for use on your "old fashioned" calendar? It would be nice to have the ones that are just the right size, as I have some of those calendars that would work perfectly.

I have 3 in each center group. I've found that more increases problems, and less students means that I need to create more centers.
