Hey Gabi, important thing about those bags. I work at a big manufacturing company that does screenprinting. You need to contact them ASAP and let them know that they messed up, send pictures for proof. If they're a decent company, they should replace them expedited at no charge. Only downside is you might have to deal with shipping them back to the company.

13:14 There’s no wrong way to do life. Before the social media boom, it used to be more difficult to find stability in an art career, so there’s absolutely nothing wrong with starting in a career that’s a little more stable. Thankfully the barrier to entry is much smaller now and even self-taught artists are finding wild success now, so technically even art school could have been seen as a waste of time. 😂 But seriously, it’s okay to do a little bit of everything and choose stability over passion until passion becomes more stable. ❤ I have a 10 year old daughter who has a huge passion for art, but she also loves coding and building/designing things. (She’s also a dancer.) I know your content isn’t inherently for children, but I allow her to follow you because I think you’re an incredible role model for her. ❤

Thank you for being so transparent 😭 been sitting on making an art shop for years now…LOL. Well I have Etsy, but it’s very sporadic. Trying to decide if I should switch to an actual website..

Agh I’ve literally just FINALLYYY started to work on opening my own art shop 😆 I’m 27 and it’s been years and years of telling myself I want to open one and it’s only now that I am finally giving it a proper go and beginning. I’m currently also a tattoo artist as of last year after having a career change as a veterinary nurse and I’m finding it really hard to find the time whilst also trying to maintain a non existent work like balance 😂 hopefully one day will get there and it’ll be open too

i love CatPrint! my partner prints his art prints from them too, the quality is fantastic and he always get a few extra prints, so i'd say that's normal!

I haven't drawn properly (taking my time) for the last couple of years. It has been a core activity for the majority of my life. However, I suddenly lost the joy I had doing it. I love to draw still, but it isn't the first, second, or third thing I do when I have the time... I guess that is also art block haha.

I think it could be fun to just get a blue paint pen and work with the little dots. Maybe add a signature over them as part of the design or add a flower? I honestly would pay full price even with the little spec but I definitely think you can get creative and fix it!

One comment on the webpage, as a web and graphic designer: I’m not sure if it makes sense to have “shop by category” then immediately list the categories below. Instinct says “shop all” then “prints”, “stationer”, etc. Might be worth an ask to your patrons! It’s your customer, and they’re not all the same :)
