Ava is so cute saying hello! I'm sure she will talk & do everything she wants & needs to do in her own time! Try not to stress!

Yes I was pleasantly surprised they had an SLP in the centre, I’ll be going next month. For some tips 😊

You are good mama. Kids comes at their own rate. But it’s good you got it checked out. That’s all you can do is work with her. 💖 and she will be talking like crazy soon.

You can see her trying to say things but nothing comes out. Everything else is as it should be so I’ll just continue what I’m doing and she will speak when she wants 😊💕

Kids are all so different they all develop at there own speed, my daughter didn't have great speech until she started school and now she natters away there's no stopping her, we did lots of repetition, singing, makaton, out walking we just to listen out for noises such as buses etc and then point out and say the word, Ava is gorgeous and your such a great mummy x

Gosh I love Ava's hair! My son was talking at 9 months by saying "ba-ba" for bottle but didn't walk until he was 14 months. Baby's grow differently 💗😊

Your doing a great job Ava will speak in her own time she's already started and it doing flash cards and repeating so just keep doing as u are

Bless her I'm sure she will talk in her own time it sounds like it won't be long as she's started saying a few words. My 7 year old didn't talk until he was about 3! He just used to grunt alot. Once he got to three he was just talking fluently all of a sudden lol! He has no problems with speech now so he was basically just stubborn and lazy lol x

Ow so sad that family and friends have made youbguys panic but i really think its too soon to decide whether a child Avas age has speech delay l. I will send u a couple youtube phonics video lonk that Derin and I do and I use it for my students and I find useful.

Yes, I’d love to see the KZbin phonics videos. If I’m being honest I think it’s a little early to know whether there is a problem but once the thought was in my mind, I had to get her checked.

our babies are the same age only a few days between them my little girl isint walking but has loads of speech every baby at there own rate x

Ah Karen, ryan didnt starting speaking till he was 2, all kids are different and develop differently, i dont thing its anything to worry about. My public health nurse had me so worried panicking that he wasnt talking. she will talk and there will be no stopping here.

Thankfully my public health nurse was nice about it, sometimes they say things out of context and all it does is cause worry.

Great job killing 2 birds with 1 stone ... getting the laundry done and a video filmed. : ) Try not to worry too much - every child is different.
