"though we can't show you what goes on inside because that's all patented technology" Uh... that's not how patents work. In fact, if it's patented in the US that actually means is _has_ to be public information registered with the US patent office. Just give me the patent numbers and 2 minutes on Google and I can easily pull up all the relevant details right now.

They should have a dryer built-in so that people too lazy to fold laundry don't have to go through all the trouble of transporting clothes from one machine to another.

And it's gonna cost at least a thousand dollars I bet. You can buy a washer AND dryer for that much.
@theskeletonboi
@theskeletonboi 6 жыл бұрын
I'd say it will cost more around $8,000 (if they really managed to get costs down). One thousand dollars is insanely cheap, no way even our most efficient manufacturing methods can get a device of this complexity under $1,500. Do washers and dryers fold your clothes for you? No, this is an additional add-on that would be a huge time saver.

@alex91008
@alex91008 7 жыл бұрын
Shahaaim do you not like innovations that make our life easier? Technology that takes care of our everyday mundane tasks is one of the ultimate goals of technology. People said the exact same things about automatic vacuum cleaners years ago but now it's commonplace in many developed nations. Things like this will become cheaper over time and people will appreciate the convenience.
@Shahaaim
@Shahaaim 7 жыл бұрын
Yeah true, I do agree with you. I do like innovations that makes our life easier. But don't you feel people are becoming more and more lazy because of some technology advances?
@BroccoliBeefed
@BroccoliBeefed 5 жыл бұрын
@Shahaaim, say you who probably has a clothes washer, clothes dryer and dishwasher in his house. People used to do all the tasks those machines do by hand. So why the prejudice against a laundry folding machine?

Danny Smith you know that's what skeptics said when the first car came out. They hated the idea of a noisy machine that did the same thing a horse could do. They didn't realize the convenience of it and thought it would just die. Skeptics like you are the ones that slow down progress in the world.
