Can we talk about how American washing machines skip the whole detergent compartment thing that European ones have? People here just pour the liquid detergent straight onto their clothes. But you know what's odd? It doesn't really spread out everywhere; it kinda sticks to the spot it hits. Unlike those European machines that mix detergent with water.
