To me, it only makes sense to have one of these if it is either in the restroom with the shower or right by a private bedroom's bath entrance, which looks like what she has set up here.

Is there any sound of buttons or clothes, travelling in the bedroom at night from above the false ceiling?

Thank you for your comment. The Laundry Jet unit only works when you open the port and will work only for the period you need it to. It switches off when not in operation. Also the machine will be placed in the laundry room and the noise of air passing through the ducting can not be heard through the ducting.
