Finally got to this. Really got the hang of it with the tutorial and after a few blocks! First time I have made this pattern like this. Love it. Turns out better than making it with HSTs.

I love your videos and explanations. If I nest seams they match easier. But with a little time and a pin at 1/4 point of seams on open seams they press flatter for me. So I like pressing seams open. I am so excited to be staying caught up once I finish this star block. 💕happy quilting.

My first quarter piece was 1/4” too short. It came to 3 1/4”.( I’m using the precut kit). So I made my seam allowance a bit smaller and was able to trim my blocks to the required 3 1/2”. Now I’m praying that when I sew the 4 pieces together, I don’t get a bubble in the middle. I was able to make a close to perfect Tahoe, so let’s hope this quilt comes out just as beautiful!

All the tips help so much! I love 8 point stars, but I think we missed the cactus block. Hopefully there will be another video because they are so helpful!

Bonjour Edyta .J'ai vu la vidéo hier et . j'ai fait l' étoile a 8 branches avec les triangles et j'ai ouvert mes coutures. Le bloc est facile et bien plat .Je faisais toujours mes étoiles avec les coutures en Y .Merci Edyta pour tous vos conseils . Aujourd'hui j'ai fais le bloc 3en miroir . Annie
