A megaton kick album with over 10 tracks?! It's been a while! This might be finally the first MK to rival MK3 in my books, complete with a sick cover too! If by some absolute miracle there was a 12th track made by Camellia, this would be the perfect megaton kick, but I'm already super happy with what we have, And Camellia's new album REX just came out so I'm decently satiated.

Shame that half the songs are pretty short. I thought that this was the time for more 4+ minute songs but they put all of that time into sound quality. If they would’ve extended that quality longer. I would’ve been on MY KNEES. But I guess you can’t ask for everything.

I was wondering about the reasoning for the Laur colour change, and the closest thing I can think of is that it's roughly similar to his hair colour. Also, interesting new logo. De-emphasizes the artcore vibe that I associate Laur with, but it's so similar to the original Laur logo (you can see it on tracks like Funny Screech from HS12) that I had to check to see the difference.

@@Hika69 I thought zaag is very high pitched without a nice transient, in the second drop the kicks have absolute godlike aliquotes, and the texture is literally off the charts insane (well it is Laur) also the stereo field is so satisfying, kick hitting in the middle then just spreads around the stereo field, check it in a vectorscope, the polar sample looks like lightning (i noticed it as I was making it my ringtone, check it if you have Ozone Imager), even the vocals - IT'S A FUCKING HOMICIDE that crack texture in HO made it that much better, tbh only Japanese can make rawstyle sound THIS good, everytime I listen to Laur I realise I have so much to learn lmao, probably no chance of catching up to him

​@@agamaz5650Oh, I don't know if by high pitch you mean the Piep Kicks that are more used in uptempo and yes, they tend to be somewhat shrill and unpleasant. You're absolutely right, these Kicks have a super satisfying texture, the Japanese take hardcore to another level hahaha. And it's not a matter of reaching or surpassing it, it's a matter of creating a new and fresh sound with your own knowledge and limitations. Keep It Up hahaha

I imagine on a set, the length wouldn’t be noticeable when it transitions to the next track. As a separate listen, it does feel shorter than his usual tracks, but I’m personally fine with it.

​@jarjarv6568 Couldn't say why, but as of recent years, Tano*C tracks have been getting shorter and shorter. It's a deliberate decision by the label, as some platforms will release "extended mixes" of tracks that have 30+ seconds of song intros/outros removed from the album release versions.
