They've talked about this one before. Apparently they didn't know how it would end because they weren't familiar with the manga or anything so they would always jokingly bet on which character would kill the other first. The day of recording Travis's lines in the episode where Mustang kills Lust, all he did was text "MUAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHA!!!!11!1!!" to a confused Laura.
