Laura was kind, funny and very caring. She was also very shy at times. Like all of us, she faced many trials in her life but found a way to overcome them.She is a wonderful inspiration. Much better than her studio version. Although I love Cher's much more, this is still great. Laura had good emotion. She was a little unpleasant at the end at points though. She was probably nervous.

To criticise means to do sth. better than the criticised person did, and here we have tow completely different styles of singing - a 80's rocking version and a 90's ballad version.... Both of the Ladies did their best but I think, that Cher sounded better in other songs, and songs written actually by Bolton are fitting better Branigan than Cher just because of the emotional way they should be sung in. Cher sung better on her late 90's albums
