Hey @lauramarling @rachelsermanni @sigridbrazil Alexander was here too, actually wearing a corderoy jacket (actually, that a bald lie; the jacket was to see Ian Dury and the Blockheads at Birmingham Odeon). Who wears a cord jacket to a punk gig. me actually. oddly it wasn't out of place but I didn't do that again, hated it anyway, perhaps wanted somone to spit on it. Ian was magic. My best mate, attending in blue synthetics, killed himself later, but as his dress sense was even worse I don't think it was the jackets that did it. Perhaps the memories of the bullying at school for extra sized gents? We, collectively, kept him as safe as we could as long as we could, as long as we could; but it was too big a pit. I wonder if he tried out his birth family for size? Don't know, but that plain black finger ring appeared from somewhere. A black cirlce. A pit or a hole perhaps??
