Magnifique! Nice tribute to a great band. I was lucky enough to see them perform in their heyday before the crash. I'm sure they would be proud to have such a talented young lady doing such a good job of keeping their songs alive.

As in "hope you can make a living at music?" Or be a big star? Music is one of the few lines of employment where it seems you have to be a "star" or you supposedly failed. Not like lawyers, doctors, chefs, accountants etc. Make a successful life out of your chosen field, that's a good start. Never hear plumbers wanting to be the best plumber...or carpenter. Odd, isn't it?

This was the last song that I did at my best friends place before he was killed. : ( "He was strictly rhythm.." This song comes natural to you, but the picking volume needs to drop much more quiet on stage, so you can sing the verses more soulfully and be heard. Use them volume and tone controls on the guitars. Good leads licks! Maybe it's just the recording, but it's difficult to feel the drummer and the bass when they need to be. Certain parts need to be isolated/mixed carefully. Good job though! : )

I don't care what all these yahoos say. Anyone that can rock in heels has got my vote for up & coming stars. The boys are right about dumping the rest of the band. They should compliment you and back your guitar playing... It is nothing bad just believe that you could get more emotion out of a looper. If you want to go to the next level, you have to be prepared to do what is best for you (Laura). I believe you have shown that you are a contender for the title and can sit back and let musicians that feel they can make Laura the best she can be, come out of the woodwork. A fit that will produce originals that make the charts and recognize that Laura is the band. Love you girl...

+protools fanatic trust me from experience its not just her..its the whole Band that's holding her back and ballady type tunes not really thing to pop out in bar gigs..keep it rockin' this is the wrong Band for her..no energy..no chemistry and she's so talented..hopefully she'll find a better Band..makes a huge difference..no energy coming from them..
