I love Amy Jellicoe from Enlightenment, such an under rated and sophisticated performance

She is so humble and down to earth. She has SO many interesting things to say and share. I LOVED her in Smooth Talk...her character went through SO much and that movie has always resonated with me...scary, creepy and it shows massive manipulation of an older person with an underage person...the mind games. Horrible! It's an important movie to see. She was outstanding in it. She was amazing in Enlighted...her performance was EPIC in each episode...so talented and has so many layers to her acting. I cannot wait to see her in Big Little Lies, if I had it right now I'd binge watch it in a heartbeat...she's a BIG draw for me. She was really good in I Am Sam! I LOVED her character in We Don't Live Here Anymore...her chemistry with Mark Ruffalo AND Peter Krause was uncanny...she & Naomi Watts performed exquisitely together as well...phenomenal casting...I own this movie. I bet dollars to donuts Naomi, Mark AND Peter will commend Laura.

One of my favorite actresses, weather it be a lead roll or a side one you always take notice of her because she is the character

There's something so weird about the intros to these - they're clearly saying something else than what you're hearing during the blurry bit behind the text, but then it is correct, like they edited out the start of the answer and cut to when the answer you hear starts after the blur ends. It messes with my mind every time.

How about the music that comes in suddenly at the end of the segment that makes you think your cell phone has a call.

Committing to unlikeable characters is the key to turning cartoon villains into flawed human beings. It’s something about finding the space where the character believes they are doing the “right” thing, for them.
