Bituin Kleinman-Mell OH MY GOD I LOVE HIM W MY WHOLE HEART. backstory i’d been waiting to see deh for ten months since i got the tickets and i had accepted not seeing ben but i was like “if other people are out that day i’ll live just AS LONG AS ITS NOT MIKE FAIST” and then of course mike the man who never misses shows WAS NOT THERE. i opened the playbill and saw it and nearly started to cry bc i was like who is this dude i waited so long and it’s not even mike? but here’s the thing. ben was AMAZING. as soon as he started singing i didn’t even care that i was missing mike anymore. he has such a wonderful voice, i actually like it more than alex boniello’s. i’d say his portrayal of connor was pretty similar to how mike seems in the soundtrack, but of course his delivery differed a little bit at parts, but never in a way that i felt made the performance worse. sorry for not being more specific i have a really bad memory :( hope this helped
