When I was younger I always wanted to fly.Ive been trained in aerial silks for TWO YEARS now.all the muscles pulled and bruises and now I’m capable of much!

Ive been doing it for 5 months and i love it so much!! I just learnt my first double drop and im so proud of myself!! The only thing i dislike is the silk burns. I learn at a slower pace than most because A)- I started off not even being able to touch my toes (i am not flexible at all) B) i started off with 0 abdominal and 0 core strength (I am getting better and better tho I do my core strength exercises every day) and C) i have this tiny slightly problematic phobia of heights and anything that involves going up high. (which is an issue but I'm working on it lol)

TRY IT!! i started at the very late age of 14, and trust me its not easy and 70% of people quit before their second month of doing aerials (yes I have calculated. Ive seen so many people come and go in my short 5 months of doing this sport) but once you find a passion in the Silks, theres no turning back. Its like an addiction, you cant stop. You just want to do more and more classes!!

At my circus school they offer beginner classes for adults (i will not disclose the name of the school as it will reveal which city I live in and, well obviously I don't want people to know which city I live in.) so it's def possible! One of the new ones in the beginner aerials is nearly 30, and she's doing really well so far!

I can understand for a viewer that can be annoying, but as an aerialist you want that support. The audience did a very great job. I am an advanced aerialist btw.

really! as a performer I find it awkward if u are in a pose or have just done a big drop and no one claps it feels like everyone is ignoring me personally I think the crowd was being great cheering her on!!
