I just resigned from the Mormon church/corporation. While it’s not the FLDS, this is so accurate in terms of how it felt to subdue myself in order to fit there, while only wanting to be “one” and “easy” to stomach as a person, never rocking the boat. I washed up on their shores a broken wolf, starving after coming out of a period of anorexia nervosa, then they took me in and made me feel special and at home. I didn’t know I was walking straight into a good old boy’s club with more rules and control than you can shake a Book of Mormon at. So glad I’m okay with not being “easy” and domesticated. I’m a wolf in women’s clothes. And that’s okay.

This reminds me of a particular horror movie where they were only girls who were nomads and their patriarch who was also sleeping with them and they get pregnant, give birth to boys and he kills them, give birth to girls, he watches them grow and sleeps with them until one day they hanged up and killed him and set themselves free I guess.

I can only hope that you're not actually misandrous and that this is simply a jab at mormon culture/polyamory/promiscuity/specific bad men or that this was forced on you by the entertainment industry cultivating victimhood and suppressing the good side of traditional masculinity which leads to the downfall of free countries.
