Relatable, man... Wish you all the best, personally I'm not going through my best time, but songs and any pieces of my life from those days give me strength and resolve to push forward. No matter what. As if I found a way to get back to my past self and stood in front of myself, after having finally solved all my problems. soooooo just got back into my minecraft hyperfixation yet again, been listening to the music that i used to and... holy shit when i say this song brought up so many emotions, so much so that i cant even find a way to pinpoint just exactly what it is. maybe im crying because deep down im realizing it'll never be as simple as it was 9 years ago? maybe im crying out of nostalgia, and these tears are actually a sign of appreciation for the memories i had. there is endless possible reasons to explain why im sobbing my fucking eyes out, but there is one thing that stands gosh darn true through all of them. i miss this. i wish i could relive every second and not take it for granted this time. i want to respect the time, as well as enjoy it, rather than just the latter. i... i just want to thank you Laura, for the amazing work you did and still do. you were part of my childhood and i didnt even know it.

David the monkey the animated one was made because steven aka slamacow (the animator) loved this song so much he wanted to make a animation for it. Like a music video. As a compliment, as in its so good (and he probably thought it deserved more but that was his part he wanted to play in making her more famous, he was also promoting her/advertising her so more people would go subscribe to her.)it deserves a animation for it more than any other normal minecraft song.

Hello Laura, if you somehow see this I just wanted to say your music was a staple of my childhood. PVZ and Minecraft were two games I vividly remember playing. I loved minecraft content as a kid, and I don't even think I could begin to count how many times I listened to this song back then. To this day this track is still amazing. Thank you for such a great song and in general for how much your musical talent has shaped me. As of today I personally make music, and I can't help but be inspired by these tracks. And I will say, if you have any breakdowns of your songs (such as Cube Land), please point me in the direction. I would be so happy to see a breakdown of how you made this song, but I can't seem to find anything from my searches. Thank you for reading if you see this, I hope you have a great day!

Besides the awesome background music, what made this song so great is it wasn't about how great someone's castle was, or how someone had a full suit of diamond armour. It was about a normal man in a terrifying, dangerous situation just trying to survive and escape, and at the end, he won. It is why a poor person trying to feed his family is more entertaining than a rich person eating food with gold leaf in it. It is why a normal person stranded in the middle of the ocean trying to find dry land, is more entertaining than someone getting an Olympics swimming medal. That is why this song is awesome!

So many people say this but your voice is completely amazing! Like, I close my eyes and then let your lyrics play and immediately it's this cool feeling that sends tingles up your spine as you imagine every scene in your head ^^

I loved it, This song is a great representation of the difficulty to survive in the early days of the game, it trully was a chalenge, to thoses who never played the early fases of the game try with beta 1.7.3, some of the gameplay features are changed yet simple.
