I can't remember the last time a artist made me binge all of there albums like i did with Laura, her volcals mixed with her lyrics and the way the band plays all comes together to make some of the most impactful music to hit my ears since Bob Dylan, she really is that tallented imho. p.s I didnt know i needed to hear a Accoustic version of Runner, that was really somthing.

Excellent session, performance, interview, the whole nine-yards. Great job AudioTree and everyone involved. The point about the heart in the record has really stuck with me. In particular, the note about how you can hear radiators in the background and knowing someone m a d e this record. That's really great, and I completely understand where they're coming from. I remember hearing music when I first started listening to music of my own discovery and actually thinking "there's no way someone actually made this beautiful noise." I really appreciate them finding the words for me to explain what I love in records.

I like what they mentioned about hearing background noises on an album. Reminds me of "For Emma, Forever Ago". You can hear Vernon get out his chair and check his voicemail at the end of RE: Stacks. With it being the last song on the album, and the whole album being written in isolation from the world, I always loved it. It felt like the album ending on a hopeful note that things will get better, and Vernon getting up and checking his voicemail was like him returning to the world, ready for it again. It always stuck with me so much.
