Interesting to hear Joshua talking about reform in the way boxing is run. If there was a legitimate league system in tandem with a world knockout system, we would see a lot more fights between the best of the best. A separate system may still be needed to allow room for matchup’s that the public want to see e.g. Fury vs Joshua but, these “One Off” Rocky style fights do not trump the legitimate route to undisputed world champ. Promotors who object or support a system like this would be a good test of their legitimacy.
