I hate the fact that he wasn’t able to acknowledge his love for Sara in front of her but in front of Heather. Weird.

O Grissom disse em um episódio que "acordamos um dia e percebemos que em 50 anos não aproveitamos a vida." Ele havia perdido a fé na humanidade, não tinha coragem de viver um amor com a Sara e colocar em risco toda a carreira dele. Depois de tanto fugir, o Grissom finalmente admitiu que gostava da Sara e escolheu viver um amor com ela ao invés de viver pelo trabalho. Coragem que ele teve graças a Lady Heather. No final, a Sara voltou para Vegas e a trabalhar no laboratório. (claro que houve o problema com o ator Gary e também saída repentina do William Petersen da série que acabaram bagunçando q história da série.) Por isso essa cena é tão perfeita. A Sara estava no auge da carreira e ele não queria ser a pessoa a "estragar o momento". Fora o medo de ser deixado novamente. Primeiro foi ele que deixou tudo por ela. Agora ela deixou tudo por ele. E em CSI Vegas eles estão casados e felizes 😍

William Peterson, Ted Danson were both in the movie Cousins, made before CSI came on the air. That movie ended with Ted Danson sailing off with Isabella Rosalini at the end. This ending was almost exactly the same, though they did add the sunset. CSI was a great show, for sure.

Blame the subpar scriptwriting crew. They didn't know how to write themselves out of a paper bag!

Sara voltou a trabalhar no laboratório de criminalista de Vegas. Grissom navegava. Os horários não coincidiam. No final, Grissom achou melhor deixar ela livre para viver a vida dela. O erro dele foi não ter conversado com ela antes de pedir o divórcio. Simplesmente pediu o divórcio e ela só aceitou sem questionar. Não considero só ele o culpado. Para mim, os dois foram os culpados. Grissom deixou a vida dele em Vegas para ficar com a Sara e no final Ela volta para Vegas. Por isso que nessa cena ela vai atrás dele. O próprio episódio deixa claro que o motivo da separação foi pura e simplesmente a distância. Amor um pelo outro os dois tem de sobra. Claro que os roteirista erraram e muito nessa separação. É obvio que dava pra deixar a Sara na equipe e terem dado uma desculpa para o Grissom não aparecer. Mas decidiram ir pelo caminho mais fácil e, me arrisco a dizer, mais preguiçoso. Pensei que, pelo menos, a Sara fosse aparecer mais na série depois do anúncio do divórcio. Aconteceu exatamente o contrário. A personagem foi aparecendo cada vez menos na série.
