Amazing scenery, wacky trails, good vehicles, talented drivers! That drone footage! 😮 I am so glad you and Grant had a bit of time to get away and just have fun….however, seeing you drive around, up, down, through, & over all those scary rocks, crevices, and dangerous passes….I am now convinced that my two oldest grandchildren are a bit nuts 😂🤪🫣❤

Awesome but scary! I’m glad they had fun and are safe back in Nebraska! Laura & Grant certainly are brave & fearless! They do love high adventure and I would say they are “a bit nuts”! Where does it come from?

You are right. Pictures do not do it justice. We have been there several times. Took back country tours. But I have seen people do very dumb things such as try to push a stalled vehicle up a steep incline. Thinking if it flipped or rolled backward they would be crushed. Glad you had fun.

I visited Moab for the first time a couple of years ago in November. My brother and I went camping and did some off roading in his Pathfinder. Such an awesome place! I can definitely relate to the feeling of being on those trails. It's almost impossible to capture the intensity of the actual trail ride on camera.

Wonderful that you and Grant had a great time in Moab., and got away from the farm for a break after harvest. I have been mountain biking in Moab many times on some pretty gnarly and (for me, at least) scary trails. I've watched people in jeeps and other off-road vehicles do some great bouldering and have seen several flip over in the process. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I retire in 10 months, Moab, a new bucket list item! From a man married for 43 glorious years to my soul mate, it's so nice to see the trust you two have in each other. Whether it's equipment & how to best use it, or the simplest of things, it all counts! When Grant was driving trails, you had 100% (ok, maybe ~99% 😉) confidence he was going to get you safely to your destination. Superb trip plan, we rarely buy a package, my wife just surprises the hell out of me! Thanks so much for sharing this! I REPEAT, thank you so much for the share! Above & beyond the call of duty, even for your YT subscribers! Like me...what am I saying?!? Never mind! 🙃😇🤣 Excellent video & the JD's will be there waiting for you when you get back. I promise.

Iv never sin trucks like those afore. I used to have a cramble bike on softer tarain. It used to Go up hills very fast. You had to hang on for your life. It would eat the land at the front of it. I was very strong back then. The bike was a 500cc Bultaco single cylinder engine. We used to call it the Beast. There was no one thick inuff to ride it other than me.

May I make a suggestion, take an old fashioned stick shift and drive some of the hills in San Francisco. You have a foot on the clutch, one on the brake and one on the gas pedal so that when you release the clutch you can give it some gas before you release the brake. The hills have stop signs at the top. Some of them you can turn left and then turn left again so that you can park perpendicular to the street. The passenger door flops open and you need some real power to open the driver's door. Glad you had a great trip!!!
