Tomb raider is my all time favourite game franchise however I prefer the old school games. Tomb Raider 2 from 1997 is my all time favourite game. I remember my dad playing it when I was a kid and I was hooked and I still play it now 25 years later. Never gets old…

How good you connected to characters. And if something bad happening with them, you generally feel bad for them. That's better way to describe it.

About Uncharted: I played the trilogy for the first time in 2017. You can definitely see that they're a bit dated when it comes to repetitive enemy waves and disruptive cutscenes, therefore I also didn't enjoy the first one's gameplay all that much. But it's definitely worth it to persevere for the story imo. As someone who has no nostalgic attachment to the trilogy, I thought that the series got better and better with each installment, with the fourth game and Lost Legacy being the best and two of my favourite games.

@laurasasmr Hihi. So Mass Effect is basically a trilogy, playing one is like reading 1 of the 3 Lord of the rings books. But if you had to just play one... Then play Mass Effect 2. It's a mission that takes place a little removed from the other two. If you're someone who enjoys lore and taking your time with things, try the 1st one then move on to the next 2. If you just want to get straight into action and have an amazing and highly rated game to kick off the series, try the 2nd one - it's basically a suicide mission and is very engaging. It's amazingly presented and the story is fast paced yet deep. It's usually a good way to start with 2 and 3. And get into 1 if you're really feeling it. 1 is slightly janky (lol). But it's an amazing story. One of the greatest stories written. Across all mediums. Ever.

Love the Dragon Quest series. I really enjoy the fairytale like archetypal storytelling it does so well. DQ 8 is probably one of my favorite jrpgs of all time. Also, played dq 9 for 80 hours just for the save file to corrupt. Also also, started DQ 11 three times and never finished it. Still love it. What if I played an instrument instead..🤔

Stick with Uncharted! Drake’s Fortune is def rough at times lol, I feel you. But I promise it will be worth it when you get to 2 and 3, and I’d highly recommend playing 4 too, as it’s the best one imo and one of the best endings to any franchise. 4 is also directed by Neil Druckman, creator and director of The Last of Us! (You will also LOVE God of War)
