This is a great video. I have been carnivore for 3 months. I have lost 42 lbs but hit a stall. Now I have had 4 ladies from work ask me questions about this diet and I have sent them all this video. Thanks so much for reiterating that I am still on the right track even though my weight has stalled. I get my motivation from videos on KZbin because my family is not carnivore. Thank you!!! 🙏

Wow Natali, this is amazing of you! How do you manage to stay carnivore with a non-carnivore husband? Is he supportive? I want to try carnivore, but my husband is not going to support me and so I am still not there. I am doing ok with just overall keeping a "healthy" diet. But. I end up cooking all the time and I'd rather go carnivore and have a break cooking-wise

@@anyaroz8619 I lucked out… my hubby is the cook in the house. Normally we cook on Sunday for my meals through out the week. When he cooks for the family with all the seasonings he just does my protein with salt. It is hard to not eat what they are eating sometimes (especially when he cooks homemade bread)😂but I have a gluten sensitivity so that has gotten some easier with time. If hubby is not supportive or is not doing this way of eating with you, get your inspiration and motivation from KZbin videos. I just got Courtney Luna’s carnivore in the kitchen cookbook. There might be some recipes in there that he will like to try. When we get a bright idea in the kitchen for my weekly meals… hubby tries them and is like “Oh! I could eat this”🤦🏼♀️ Just keep going down the rabbit hole on research and watch as many people as you can and it will help with motivation! Good luck!

Natalie, stalling is part of the journey. Happened to me numerous times in my 545 days of carnivore. I have lost 66 pounds now. Carnivorejourney0609 is my KZbin channel and I have some videos in there about breaking a stall. Good luck.

Fellow Texan here and I relate to Ashley so much!! Prior to being carnivore I was such a “foodie” and constantly wanting to learn how to cook new things and there’s honestly a huge part of me that still wishes I could travel the world and taste all the food and maybe someday I will, but for right now I am 2 months in to being strict carnivore (very little to no dairy, the only dairy I have on occasion is cream), and so far I have lost 18 lbs and 22.5 inches and I have no cravings, sleeping wonderfully and no longer having to take sleep aids at night, and the list goes on. One thing that shocked me about becoming carnivore is the “break” that happened in regards to cooking and spending so much time being in the kitchen - I thought I would miss this but it’s actually been very freeing, like Ashley said! It’s so nice to not have to constantly figure out what I’m going to cook every night… I do still cook some non-carnivore things for my husband and son but not nearly as often as I used to. Steaks and burger patties are my daily go-to and I love it! ❤

Thank you talking about food addiction. I think a lot of carnivores miss this aspect. As a food addict, carnivore helps but I can absolutely still overeat and occasionally binge on something I don't want to eat. Understanding the importance of raising dopamine, exercising and managing my food intake has been helping immensely. Fasting is a no go for me as a food addict.

Carnivore diet has simplified things for me. My inflammation is down, gastric issues are down. I drink alot of water with Celtic sea salt & use electrolytes too. Carb withdrawal is a real thing, oxalate dumping caused me a rash but if you treat the rash, work thru it & things will get better. I strength train several times a week. Its all a process. Stay with it

Good advice. I have a friend who is thinking about transitioning from Keto to Carnivore. I'm going to share this with her. Also, I'd like to say we've always thought we had to exercise to lose weight. But that's truly not the case. Exercise is to help with strengthening our muscles, including our heart muscle, stamina and balance. If you just incorporate walking it will help tremendously.

Great questions and answers. I can't regulate cheese. I found out there's a protein or enzyme or some part of cheese (i saw in a carnivore video) where it effects some people in their brains to cause that craving. Once i cut it all the way out and leave for just if i eat out and do without at home, the cheese food noise is gone.

@@Thecatladybooknook_PennyD I’ve seen many videos that say it also stalls weight loss. I have maybe a tsp a month 😂 my hardest was gluten. After eliminating it and trying it again I had horrible stomach pain, so every time I think about homemade bread I have to have my mantra repeating in my head! 😂

@nataliesanders3733 yeah that homemade sourdough was hard for me to give up but Laura helped me with that "I'm Carnivore now and i just don't eat that. " luckily gluten doesn't bother me but it's easy to stop the food noise with more meat and fat. And yes cheese and cream definitely halted my fat losses.

@BoraSwings4 күн бұрын

Maybe it is like a Phase and I have to wait? Or just to try to overeat a little to see how the reaction is. I don't have any Ideas left for that.
@laurehancock13344 күн бұрын
@@BoraSwings if you have been carnivore for 3 months you should be past any adaptation and being this tired is not normal so if you can’t figure it out you should go to the doctor. It’s possible you have something unrelated to diet going on. If it were me I would throw back 1/2 tsp salt and chug some water and see if I felt better in 20 min is so then it looks like a salt issue. 10% fat is very low I would try bumping that up a lot at least for a couple weeks. I would also keep a food diary and track calories and macros for several weeks. Just cause you are eating twice a day doesn’t mean it’s enough calories. Also I would consider food allergies - even though you are eating healthy food you could still be allergic. Best of luck.
