You should do the resin with your wedding flower bouquet. I did that after my wedding and loved being able to preserve such special flowers. I was able to give my mom and MIL a tray each and I made a frame for myself. 10/10 will recommend

Vet tech and dog owner here! No problem with dogs being on a lifetime special diet, if it's what he needs. The food you showed is a super great food, I actually feed the normal one (not low fat) to my dog! It's a highly digestible kibble, which means less upset stomach because it's easier to break down. It's available without a prescription from the vet here in Canada.

Vet nurse and sensitive tummy dog owner. There’s no problem with your gorgeous boy being on a prescription diet for his whole life. If it is what he needs then it’s what is best for him. Here in Australia you don’t need a prescription for those types of diets. My boy we had to try multiple different types to find the right thing for him and I will never change again. Keep the boys happy and healthy!! ❤

My 2 shepherds had terrible stomach issues and we finally took them to the vet for a test and the prescription kibble was the only way they could keep anything. They played better, slept better, hearing was stronger. It just made me realize how miserable they were before. They’ve been on it for 4 years now. Not a problem. Sometimes I pour water over it so they get more water in them when it’s hot outside but they love it still.

one of the most common cause of watery / soft stool is over feeding! i didn’t know this and thought i was treating my doggo when i would give him a little extra but turned out it was what was causing him to have diarrhea and i thought he had a sensitive stomach but it was just too much food. i feed him Sundays Dog Food and portion it exactly to pet recommendation and never have any issues anymore!

I feed both my dogs, rice, turkey, sweet potatoes, and carrots, which I make for them every week because they have sensitive tummies. This has been a game changer for both of them and they have not had any digestive issues since I started cooking for them!!

Definitely just ask the vet to see if you can substitute or add things to he’s food to help out with he’s stomach. I hope moose will get better. He’s such a sweet boy. My dogs stomach isnt too sensitive but we make sure to watch what she eats and don’t give her to much of something’s. Lauren your are such an inspiration and I’ve grew up watching you through it all and i love your content now and in the past. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

One of my dogs has been on a prescription diet for almost 2 years and it's been great for him so far. He's a german shepherd with a sensitive tummy and doesn't like much change either lol. We did do it where we have two different prescription foods (different brands) so we can/should always have one we can get. Glad we did since one did get recalled and we haven't been able to get another bag of that one since then. Hope all goes well for Moose, whatever path you end up going for his food!

I’m pretty sure you can take an E file (for your nails) or a Dremel and sand down the sharp edge of the resin. Any surface you touch with the file will give it a matte finish, so be really careful not to touch the top surface. If you don’t like the matte look after sanding you can always Polish it out. You can buy special polish for acrylic online

My dog was also on a prescription kibble for a sensitive stomach but I switched his treats to be just one ingredient freeze dried treats. Then I give him his regular kibble (royal canin for golden retrievers) + fresh food. Cooked lean ground beef or I use Nulo toppers if on the go. I add in Bernie’s perfect poop for probiotics. He’s 5 and no more runny poops!

Hi Lauren! I love your videos and have been watching for years! I have worked in the dog world for years, now specifically in the dog food industry. I love that you feed Diggy the fresh food! That is amazing for him and you’ve seen the changed. I highly suggest finding a gentle recipe - gently cooked or even raw diet for Moose too. Chicken and rice or something simple. Make sure it’s a “complete and balanced” diet to ensure he gets all the nutrients he needs. Try a holistic approach to his sensitive stomach. My golden is the same is on raw and has had an amazing 360 change! It’s great he has the supplements but try eliminating some like the salmon oil to see if that’s a sensitivity. Prescription diets, especially kibble are SOO hard to digest. I hope this helps! 🫶🏼

My dog is on the same food and hates it! There is a wet canned version that I sometimes put on top of the dry food, but it’s pretty expensive. I usually boil carrots, zucchini, or scramble some eggs and sprinkle that on top of the dry food and then he loves it! The boiled carrots and zucchini also make for fantastic treats 😊

The dryer the kibble, the harder it is to digest. My dog had the same issues with the poos, now we feed 5 times a day in little portions, half dry and half wet food and it is perfect. Also, a slow feeder helps. And free of preservative food. And only a set amount of treats.

My dog has been on the prescription food you mentioned for the last several years. He has a sensitive stomach and issues with his liver enzymes. He does great on the food! He hasn't had many stomach issues and it has regulated his poop, actually sometimes we have to give him some extra treats to make it easier for him. He has hair instead of fur but his coat is shiny and overall very healthy. If your vet thinks it will help him, I definitely think it is worth a try. It worked out positively for my little guy!

100% recommend feeding raw. The moment we saw our bully have symptoms (6months) of allergies we switched him to raw and he was actually able to gain weight. Our dogs thrive on raw food and I could never go back to kibble. It’s more work but the benefits outweigh the hassle!

My puppos have sensitive tummies and (with clearance from my vet) they get a little bit of probiotics with their meals and that helps settle their tummies. They don't get it all the time, just if there is going to be extra stress for them or if they already have poop issues that we get to deal with.

17:18 I don’t have a sensitive tummy dog but if his food is too dry, you can try to pour (cooled down) boiled carrot water on top. Boiled carrots is a regular thing we cook as a dinner side just so my dog has carrot water 😂

as a doggo owner/fosterer, i like to trust the people who spent 8 years receiving a doctorate of veterinary medicine. if you trust your vet to take care of your dogs life, i'd listen to them. and if youre concerned i'd bring it up with them. a great vet is understanding and willing to educate you. my doggo has a sensitive stomach/skin and he's been great with his food. him not itching and shitting his brains out is 10/10

It's the worst when our fur babies dont feel good, mine is just getting over an ear infection so I get it. Mine has a sensitive tummy & he was fine on the food we adopted him with until all of a sudden he wasnt.. we switched him to purina pro plan sensitive skin & stomach (he likes the lamb & oat flavor) and hes been perfect ever since. It's not prescription, but has worked wonders for him! ❤

vet assistant here! it is definitely okay for Moose to be on an rx diet forever. We have lots (probably hundreds) of patients that are on rx diets long term, indefinitely, or until they pass and there is no harm at all. You could also ask for an rx wet food if you think having more moisture would help!

My dog has a super sensitive stomach and he uses an rx diet! I mix in the rx wet food (smaller amount) into the kibble to make it more wet and it’s the only thing that doesn’t hurt his tummy!

I’m loving the resin design, I got married recently and did one in that mold as a wedding ring plate, you can get ring holder molds too. I’ve also done a bunch of candle holders and the heart boxes (with our wedding date on it) using flowers my husband gave me, great as a keepsake and wedding decor❤

My old vet prescribed the same brand of dog food to one of my dogs. It eventually made her sick as well and I stopped giving it to her. I ended up adopting a second pup later on who is also allergic to EVERYTHING. After much trial and error with different dog foods, I’ve found human grade food works best for her sensitive tummy and processed food has been fully cut out of her diet due to it making her vomit. I have a beagle and they are notorious for sensitive tummies. We put her on a kibble made up mostly of white fish and potato and it helped so much. She never gets stomach problems anymore. She can have treats but they have to be limited in small quantities otherwise it messes with her tummy. Also recommend protexin pro fibre, it’s just a fibre supplement but it works to maintain a healthy gut biome and firm up their poop 💩 hope this helps☺️

Vet assistant here and also a momma to a doggo with a lot of gi issues. If you haven't already, I would take Mr. Moose to a vet that specializes in internal medicine, he might need an endoscopy and/or a Colinoscopy to figure exactly what his tummy needs. That food you have him on is great, but there is so much more out there that might work better for his situation. Or a higher grade probiotic. I hope that helps!! Sensi tummy doggo mom over here - she has been on the biome diet for basically her whole life because that’s about all that works… I know she doesn’t get tons of nutrients, so we do try to add “vegetable stew” where we just put a bunch of stuff in the crock pot with some chicken broth and let it cook until it’s mush & add that on in. She does some extra supplements as well, but I really would love to see if we can find something else that works for her and is more well rounded, but it has so far not worked. I hope moose’s little flair has gotten better!!!

My dog (Yorkie) was on prescription Hills for pancreatitis once he turned 8 and then made it until he was 11 years old! I will say eventually we switched over to a natural diet and he seemed to thrive so much more on that!! We started with fresh pet and worked from there. He really began to hate the prescription diet after a year or so. Good luck!!! ❤️❤️

My pup had MAJOR tummy and digestive issues until he was about two. I went on the prescription diet for maybe 6 months but really wanted to get off of it because it was my favorite in terms of additives and i prefer fresher food over kibble. After the 6 months I worked on giving my pup different foods that were SINGLE protein so I could really see if there was a specific protein he was allergic to. I found out his tummy doesn’t love chicken and lamb so now we just stay away from those and I am able to give him the food I prefer just without those proteins!

Coming from a vet assistant: prescription diets for dogs are some of the best quality foods out there developed by scientists. Some dogs require a certain RX diet for life & that's how they best thrive. If it's working well for Moose, I would keep sticking with it! If not, talk with your vet about other alternatives. There are wet food RX options & other brands as well.

I highly suggest doing a UCARI Pet scan and seeing what things are causing a stress to the system. I work at a local pet food store and see a lot of times vets will prescribe a food as such and it is full of everything that is causing the issues. I love the diet you have Diggy on! Moose would probably do best on a reehydrated freeze dried diet. My favoritee brands are Steve's Real Food, Tucker's, and OC Raw. This change made the world of differeence for my lab.

Dr. Harvey's is the answer to all sensitive tummy and all special diet concerns! The instant our dog went on it every skin and stomach issue was gone. Swelling, joint pain, alertness everything for the better! Kibble is equivalent to humans eating hotdogs everyday, and our pups deserve better! Everything you mix in for Moose is already done for you, just add his oil and protein. I wish we had discovered it sooner, instead of the last 5 years of our dog's life. They'll even make special food, and care SO much about their wellbeing!

We have a sensitive tummy girl with lots of food allergies. We don’t do prescription but we do limited ingredient. Probiotic if you don’t already may be something to talk to your vet about. Also, slow feeder or enrichment toys for meals - slows her down so she doesn’t scarf it down in .03 seconds and her tummy seems to do better.

For my sensy tummy pup the key has been probiotics. She is on a raw diet and had been for quite some time when her tummy started acting up, but since she’s been on daily probiotics it hasn’t been a issue!

we had a dog that was literally allergic to everything except rice, chicken, carrots, and peanuts. So the food that we had to feed her so she was able to get the nutrition that she needed that only had those four ingredients was a prescription diet and she ate that her entire life. It was hella expensive and do not recommend for the wallet. But she was already not doing well medically so the diet was a pinpoint reason for any of it.

My dogs do not have sensitive tummy’s but i do know that pit bulls, bullies, and bull terriers can have allergies to chicken and causes them to have 💩 problems, i would assume it could be the same for turkey. It doesn’t affect all of my pups but i do notice it’s a problem for two of them so they get beef instead. Also if the food is too dry you can try adding some broth and letting it soak for a minute or so
