There were a couple of scenes in this film that were re-enacted in later productions. The slipping the note under the door gag was featured in the 1931 film "Come Clean" when Stan and his wife made an unwelcome visit to see Oliver and his wife at home. Whilst the not having enough money for four drinks scene featured in the 1929 film "Men O War".

When I watch these now ancient films, I always wonder about the people in the background walking the course. They probably had no idea what was going on at the time, and surely no idea that almost 100 years later anyone would still see them as they were that day.
