Something to note, all knights seem to have dislike for their aspect. In Dave's conversation with grimbark Jade, Dave says he's done with messing with time. Karkat tries to hide his blood color, and while we don't know much about Latula, it mentions she acts rad to cover up her personality, which could be seen as rejecting mind.

You're completely allowed to ignore the EZ quiz tbh. I've always known I was a time player so it served more as confirmation that I'm a Piries than any sort of revelation. And quizzes are fallible by the nature of statistics; time is actually 'rigged' to be most common in that if there's a tie between time and another aspect, time wins out. This isn't a flaw, it's by design--cuz y'know time is one of the Building Block aspects. It's completely possible that you were tied between Breath and Time and Time won because of the quiz design. Technically you can answer completely neutrally and STILL get time, but that's because metagaming the quiz to avoid giving away information is The Dave Thing To Do haha.

@@LaureledEevees yeah, the quiz actually breaks the aspects down into pairs, and asks you two either/or questions per aspect pair, to see which one you have a stronger affinity for. questions 1 and 2 are the breath/blood questions, 3 and 4 are the light/void questions, 5 and 6 are the time/space questions, 7 and 8 are heart/mind, 9 and 10 are hope/rage, and 11 and 12 are life/doom. so like, if you can figure out which answer is most "breath-like" vs. most "blood-like" and pick the extremely breath answers for those two questions, then just pick the middle answer for everything else... bam. breath it is. and I know that's cheating, but the point is that cheating it really is that easy. literally one of the space/time questions was "would you prefer the ability to go anywhere in the world instantly, or to be able to visit any point in history" like, that's way too transparent. I think the most interesting thing the test provides us with is canon descriptions of what each aspect entails. for instance, breath players mainly act independently, often making decisions all on their own, while blood players know their team and forge bonds and connections between people. I think you will probably know which aspect fits you best... better than this simple quiz would.

I can easily tell what the questions pertain to a specific aspect. Well, apparently, Prospit is default, but sways have almost 50-50 balance, but I calculated chances of aspects and they present like that: 16.4% for Time 14.4% for Space 10.7% for Heart 9.9% for Mind 7.9% for Hope 7.7% for Rage 6.4% for Light 6.3% for Void 5.5% for Breath 5.4% for Blood 4.7% for Life 4.7% for Doom (so little less chance, than for Life, that you can't really notice)

The thing about personality tests is that they are incredibly vague and assume constancy. The Hank Green said something similar to this, but the bottom line is that "personality" changes from situation to situation. We all have masks that we wear and I believe that a mask worn long enough becomes your face. We age, learn, grow, and change. I think the Extended Zodiac has limited usefulness in understanding or predicting characters and people because it limits our thinking and closes our minds.

I always thought a fun bit of speculation about Knights is that their sessions possibly lack their aspect, to a certain extent. The Beta kids' session was the shortest of all the cannon sessions we know of (lasting about a day), and there were many tight time restraints placed on them. Karkat's session lacked true, deep bonds (many speculate that blood represents relationships, "blood is thicker than water") to help make the session flourish and resolve problems without conflict. And though we don't have a lot of info on their session, Latula's session seemed to lack forethought and planning. Probably not the most solid speculation, but still, it's good food for thought

11:57 It is canon, but not completely all the canon. And just now i suddenly see it. Time is music. You time travel by a musical instrument. Dave's is turntables. What he does to time is to jump back and forth, returning to the same moment again and again, creating his own personal hours for himself - just like a DJ creates his own music from a record. Aradia's is a time box. You don't really play it, you just move the handle, and create the music that the box was made with. You are not the one making the music, but you still need to move the handle. That's exactly what Aradia did with time - she fulfilled all the things that was already determined to happen, without trying to change anything at all. Why didn't i see this before?! If it makes you feel any better about the official quiz naming you a Time player, I've taken the quiz multiple times (four so far, probably more in the future), all at very different times (wanted to answer honestly without remembering my previous answers), and my aspect keeps flipping back and forth between Light and Hope. And I MEAN it flips back and forth! I've currently got a perfectly even split between Light results and Hope results. I can't be sure of my aspect even *with* the official quiz. XD I choose to consider myself a Hope player simply because that makes the title for my official extended zodiac sign "Pirius: Sign of the Storyteller", and I have several original story ideas that I *Hope* to make into full fledged series (if I ever could stop being the queen of procrastinators and work on something other than characters and world building concepts and make an actual PLOT).

I was pretty surprised when I took The Extended Zodiac Quiz. It gave me the exact opposite of the aspect I thought I was: Doom. At the same time though, it was pretty funny. Because at that moment I realized I was a very despondent Page of Life.

Haha, all the aspect quizzes I took said I was a Space player, if including class I would be a Knight of Space, yet the "extended zodiac" said I was a Life aspect.

yeah, the zodiac aspect quiz is wierd. I'm now confused on whether im a space player, a light player, or even a breath player. ive heard that they may be creating another, more accurate quiz that will also tell class, but ive yet to find the post or tweet thaf says that, so it could just be rumors

It seems a lot of people are getting different aspects then they originally thought they were. I was lucky enough to still have gotten the aspect I believed I was (Hope), but I was definitely surprised when my best friend turned out to be a Light player instead of being a Heart player that I thought she was. Now I’m just worried about when the class test comes out. ( I really HOPE that I’m still a Knight or at least a Rogue. )
