This song hit different compared to the other songs. I'm empathetic, to fictional characters, to my friends, family, animals, etc. It really is a mess, whenever someone is crying or angry or even screaming, my good day just automatically turns melancholic. When someone is happy but, I'm sad, I would suddenly feel HOORAY! I sometimes feel like I don't have my own "feelings". I'm sorry if this is sounding VERY cringe but...this song really just hit a very complicated spot...

I love this song and definitely relate. As someone who is an empath, I realized recently (as a result of therapy and the internet lol) that it is partially a result of my upbringing and lower case trauma. I’m now learning to focus on myself more. And one big thing I realized that I wanted to share for anyone else is this: “I DON’T HAVE TO SAVE THE WORLD” And YOU don’t have to save the world! I had made my whole life/identity about helping others and I finally realized that I don’t have to fix everything and everyone. It is OK to do things just because I enjoy it. It is OK to choose my career based upon my own wants and needs and not based on a self-imposed expectation to help as many people as possible. Do I want to still help people? Yes! But I’m realizing more that it can be a balance and doesn’t have to be my whole life. Anyway, just wanted to share.

My personal favs are obviously King and then Fools and Lilo/Sinners. All of her other songs are also really good like Echoes, Talk to me, Forest Fires. I just wish she made more songs like them. I like these new ones but they're missing something that I can only find in her old songs.
