I met up with him a couple times after that, and I realized that I'd fallen in love with him. I get to see him again soon, but I have yet to confess to him.

There's this boy close to my heart. We've been childhood friends but never really knew until we reconnected 10-9 years later (end of high school) We danced during prom and never really communicated afterwards. Few months later, we startes to reconnect again and learned about eachothers' childhood. We escalated to being best friends. We never treated each other more than friends would. We had lives of our own and we were growing. We had different romantic interests and such. Later on.. Just before college started, he confessed. I did too and although it was romantic.. It was also very confusing. We've been friends and this was new to both of us. The feeling is mutual. Nothing changed though. We talked about it and confirmed that we would rather have each other as best friends because jumping into a relationship might ruin what we have now and that starting and being in college would be difficult if relationships were to be brought along also. So now.. We're still friends lmao. But everytime we hang out is even more special than it used to be knowing that this peculiar boy is in love with me and i am in love with him too. This song just makes me think of us being afraid of loving like fools and that we might end up losing the friendship we've been trying so hard to maintain and build.

This brings back all the happy yet painful memories... We started at a young age, I was 14, he was 15. I remember the dumb moments we spent together, just chatting hours and hours on the phone, talking about life, how much I want to go on a holiday, or just how he craves Japanese food, how much we just wanted to hop on a plane and see each other again. But as the months passed along, we started talking less... He got busy with school and adjusting to his new family, I had to start preparing for university. Slowly, our future together got hazy, he wasn't sharing that much anymore, and whenever I asked him about visiting he gave me excuses and excuses... He would tell me he's coming, but yet again another excuse would come after that, saying he's not able to come to visit. My hope for us reuniting faded and I just couldn't handle it anymore. And then, I broke up with him. He didn't even have any reaction whatsoever, no callback, no anything. It's been 3 days since the breakup, and a day before my exams, and I'm just a mess right now, crying while listening to this. Why does it hurt so much, even if I was the one who broke up with him?

Wow, really touched me. Reminded me of the time I was a fool. OK its story time. So I was rlly good friends with a boy But I wanted to be more And little did I know it would ruin it all..... I asked him out and he said he really really liked me too and said yes. I was happy probably the happiest person alive he, he was so amazing. We broke up after about 7 to 8 months. We then were in highschool and I made new friends But I still liked him One of my new friends asked him out soon after and well he said yes.. I was sad yet happy for the girl?? I’m telling something that broke me I met this girl.. I never knew I was into girls till her.. we got to talking and started to like each other.. we started dating... talking about meeting and how it would go.. later her friend came to me saying she cheated on me.. she was getting bullied at school.. I felt bad but I was hurt.. I asked her about it and said she had to so they didn’t know she was gay. A few months later I got the same friends saying she cheated again.. I broke up with her because she hurt me too many time’s... I was on a trip and her friend said she lied and told me what she wanted to say to me... we got back together.. I didn’t know she did it again.. but when we broke up many times.. she dated my friend who called me selfish for not wanting to be friends with her.. could you blame me? She broke my fucking heart.
